At Star Dance School, we provide a variety of Ballroom and Latin Dance classes for kids and teens. Private dance lessons, and group dance classes, in both competitive and social ballroom and latin dancing are available in the following ballroom dance styles:
For children and teenagers ages 5-17 who wish to experience the excitement, glamour, and challenge of competitive ballroom dancing, or dancesport, we have designed a unique competitive dance program, focusing on developing dancing technique, performance and competition skills, physical training, and strong team work. If you interested to participate in ballroom dance competitions, you don't have to be an advanced ballroom dancer. You can start competing even as a beginner. However, you have to be a serious, motivated dancer, aware that you are a part of a team, and responsible for making sure you attend every class on a regular and timely basis.
Star Dance School provides group and private social ballroom and latin dance classes for children 5 years and older. Our Social Ballroom and Latin dancing classes are mainly "for fun only" dance classes. The children will have a good workout, and learn latin and ballroom dance basic step in fun and friendly atmosphere. The classes are taught by qualified teachers, but there are no strict attendance requirements. We teach social ballroom dances, such as Waltz, Tango, and Foxtrot, and social latin dances, such as Salsa, Cha Cha Cha, Bachata, Merengue, Rumba, Samba. Some elements of Swing will be also taught. These dance classes are a stepping stone towards competitive dancing, or Dancesport, and are a great confidence builder. To schedule a Private/Group Social Latin or Ballroom Dance lesson, just call us 617-202-9200, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or contact us »
