Waltz originated from a style of Waltz called
the Boston, with slower turns, and more
longer, gliding movements. Beautiful,
elegant, emotional, and  romantic, a Slow
Waltz, is a dance of the heart and soul, and
is a great choice for a first wedding dance.
Very popular social dance,Waltz is also one

Cha-Cha-Cha  originated  in Cuba. The Cha
Cha Cha is a lively, flirtatious ballroom

classic "Cuban motion" gives the Cha Cha
its unique style. Cha-cha-cha is one of the

Tango, is a passionate, dramatic, sensual
and very elegant dance that has influences
from European and African culture.  
Ballroom tango uses different music and
styling than the Argentine  tango, with
more staccato movements and the
characteristic "head snaps". Ballroom
tango, divided in recent decades into the

styles, is incorporated into the repertoire

The Paso Doble is a moderately fast,
theatrical Spanish dance that characterizes
the man as the matador and the lady as his
cape. It is a  march-like dance with
significantly less hip movement, based on
Flamenco dancing, the character of the
dance is arrogant and passionate. Paso
Doble for the most part is danced only
competitively, almost never socially and one
of the five dances of the "Latin American"
program of international ballroom dance
