energetic fun dances that were developed in 1920, and
are danced to jazz music: Lindy Hop, Charleston,
Jitterbug, Collegiate Shag, Rock'n'Roll, Balboa, Jive,
East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing. Jive and East
Coast Swing could be also danced competitively: Jive is
one of five International Latin dances, and East Coast
Swing is a standardized dance in American Style
